Scottish Terriers and Scotland's History

Both of these came together today, Friday the 11th August with the raising of the historical bronze age boat in the River Tay. The boat was floated downstream to Newburgh in Fife where it was gently lifted out of the Tay by a crane. Visit my page(s) on this historical event - Scotland Ancient Bronze aged boat

Historical Boat Scotland, Pictures of the boat arriving at Newburgh in Fife on the River Tay

The pictures shown above are of the ancient 3000 year old boat arriving at Newburgh, Fife after having been floated down from the direction of Perth. Many people were waiting to see this historical event, along with many children. Also in the audience were many dogs, therefore the reference to Scottie Dogs as and Scottish Terriers.

The only reason I discovered that the boat was being taken out of the water, was due to my own dog, Sam, having done his usual and run away. It was the only reason I found out about the event. So I think a reference to dogs and the arrival of the boat at Newburgh is justified as a heading.
